Bats cannot be exterminated in New York, and they should not be. They can be excluded: guided out of the building and permanently locked out. Quality Pro has handled bat infestations across Westchester since 2004 with one licensed team for both the wildlife and the pest side of the problem.

Quality Pro is licensed for nuisance wildlife control in New York and Connecticut and licensed for pest control as well, so the same team can handle the colony, the structure and the follow-on pest issues.
Finding and sealing entry points is the heart of what we do across every wildlife job. Bats are the most demanding version of it because the gaps are smaller and the colony finds the one you missed. Our technicians train for this through NWCOA programs and industry seminars.
A bat infestation rarely comes alone. Guano, soiled insulation and the insects that live around a roost need attention too. Because we hold both pest and wildlife licenses, you do not need a second contractor to finish the job.
Pests or Wildlife? We Handle Both.
Find your problem below and let our skilled, humane team handle the rest, from insects and rodents to nuisance wildlife.
Safe, humane, species-appropriate wildlife removal, with exclusion options to help prevent re-entry.
Humane bat exclusion backed by a 2 year warranty, sealing every entry point so they cannot return.
Mouse and rat control plus rodent proofing, backed by a 1 year exclusion warranty.
Multifamily buildings, campuses and older institutional structures give bat colonies dozens of ways in and plenty of space to grow. Quality Pro plans commercial bat exclusion the way the building requires: a full survey of the envelope, a phased sealing schedule that respects seasonal restrictions, and documentation for owners, boards and property managers.

We confirm the activity, define the scope, exclude the colony and verify the structure before the 2 year warranty begins.
The inspection establishes that you have bats, how many, where they roost and every point of entry.
You receive a written scope covering exclusion, sealing and any decontamination, with seasonal timing spelled out.
One way devices go up, the colony leaves over the following nights, and every opening is sealed behind them.
We return to confirm the structure is quiet, complete any cleanup, and the 2 year warranty begins.
An inspection answers the question. The fee is waived when you sign up for service, and the emergency line is open 24/7 for a bat inside the house.
Quality Pro works out of Hawthorne, NY and handles bat infestations throughout all of Westchester County, plus select communities in Southern Putnam County, Eastern Rockland County, the Northern Bronx and Western Fairfield County, CT. Because we hold wildlife control licenses in both New York and Connecticut, homes on either side of the state line get the same licensed service.

One bat that flew in through an open window is a visitor. Repeated sightings, droppings collecting in the same spot, staining around a gap at the roofline or bats emerging from the building at dusk point to a colony that is roosting there. The inspection settles it.
No, and neither can anyone else legally in New York. Bats are protected, and lethal methods are not permitted. What a licensed operator does instead is bat exclusion, which removes the colony humanely and closes the building permanently.
It is the process of letting bats leave through one way exit devices while preventing them from re entering, then sealing every opening once the structure is empty. Our exclusion work carries a 2 year warranty.
Bats sealed inside can find another route, often into the living space, or the colony can reopen or relocate to a gap you did not know about. Sealing has to come after the colony is out and after every opening is found.
Regular pest control treats insects with products. Bats are wildlife, so the work is structural: finding openings, installing exit devices and sealing. Quality Pro is licensed for both, so one team covers the whole job.
The exit devices stay in place for several nights so every bat has left, and final sealing follows. Timing also depends on the season, since exclusion is restricted during the summer months when pups cannot yet fly.
Describe what you have seen, heard or found, and where. The more detail we have, the more precise the exclusion plan and quote will be.
